One of the best decisions that I’ve ever made was to volunteer with Stray Cat Alliance. Giving of myself to others in need was my New Year’s Resolution for 2013. I began volunteering with Stray Cat Alliance in April when I transported Baxter from the vet to his temporary foster home. Read his story HERE. A month or so after transporting Baxter, I began volunteering to socialize 19 very scared and feral cats that were rescued from a hoarder. Only three of those 19 cats remain and they are available for adoption HERE. I visit the boarding facility where Stray Cat Alliance cats are boarded every day. We give them love, affection and play time. We teach them how to socialize with humans and help them become more confident, out going and kid friendly. If you would like to volunteer with Stray Cat Alliance go HERE. We also foster for Stray Cat Alliance. Come back soon to read about our foster cat, Nigel, who was hit by a car in South Los Angeles!
